The Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah is the largest government medical facility in the West Bank and serves as the central hospital under the Palestinian Ministry of Health. It encompasses several specialized hospitals that were either previously separate or later integrated, such as the Kuwaiti, Bahraini, and Sheikh Zayed hospitals, as well as the Son of Ramallah Wing, which represents the institution’s original foundation. The complex has undergone continuous expansion and modernization, becoming a major referral medical center serving various Palestinian governorates. It includes specialized departments, medical training centers, a national blood bank, central laboratories, and an oncology department. It plays a key role in clinical education and emergency services. The complex provides specialized medical services and advanced procedures such as kidney transplants and open-heart surgery. It also operates a 24/7 emergency department and essential medical services.
