Cultural
The Ramallah Cultural Palace was established in 2005 after years of planning and implementation by the Ramallah Municipality and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with generous support from the Japanese government. The Ramallah Cultural Palace, with its area, halls, and main theatre that holds 750 seats, came to meet a pressing need in the cultural sector not only at the level of the city of Ramallah, but at the level of Palestine as a whole. Since its opening, it has hosted many artistic, cultural, political, educational, academic, and scientific events, in addition to national events and artistic and cultural festivals that include dance and dabke performances, music concerts, and huge theatrical performances.
