Embroidery Shops

Ramallah hosts a variety of embroidery shops that combine traditional authenticity with modern designs. Most of these shops are concentrated in the city center near Al-Manara Square, Martyr Yasser Arafat Square, and Al-Irsal Street. These shops are more than commercial spaces; they act as guardians of the city’s visual identity, playing a key role in preserving the “Ramallah Traditional Thoub,” one of the most beautiful traditional Palestinian garments. Today, these shops have successfully integrated traditional agricultural stitching into modern clothing such as scarves, bags, and jackets, making heritage part of everyday life rather than it being limited to special occasions.
