The Coptic Orthodox Church, with its modern look, was built on top of one of the highest hills in Ramallah. It is looked over by two bell towers. The church is known for the beautiful wooden icons found inside it. The church building suffered a fire in 2009 which, unfortunately, damaged most of its belongings except for the picture of Jesus Christ.
